Your eyes are fine. You may have been wondering, when you saw last week’s news release announcing HP and Xerox’s expanded business relationship. But there are some pretty compelling reasons for this, and Senior Analyst John McIntyre breaks those down — with just one analogy about in-laws.

Beds-in-a-bag. Nutrition bars. Sporks. And now, ArcDrive. Because who doesn’t love everything they need combined together in one convenient package? Launched last week, ArcDrive is “a small box that resides on the end user’s network embedded with advanced capture, intelligent workflow, data collection as well as remote monitoring and automatic supplies fulfillment software.” It’s almost as good as those frozen prepackaged peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches. Almost.

The coolest things we saw 3D printed this week. We apologize profusely for being a little late bringing this one to you, but it’s so good it definitely falls under the “better late than never” heading. Website 3ders.org reports that Swedish metal giant (that’s the verbiage used in the story) Sandvik recently released what it called “the world’s first smashproof 3D printed guitar” and invited guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen to try to smash it.
